Temporary Payroll Manager
Do you have dedicated, end-to-end Payroll experience and are you looking for your next role within an established, international company? If so, we have an opportunity for you to join our client on a long-term temporary basis.
You will manage the monthly payroll function for over 300 members of staff, based both in the UK and internationally. You will be required to process changes in salary, liaise with the payroll bureau and reconcile any discrepancies.
This is a critical and detailed position, you must demonstrate both numerical proficiency and the soft skills needed to liaise with employees across the business. You must be superbly well organised and able to meet tight deadlines with efficiency and ease.
Temporary Payroll Manager Responsibilities
As the Temporary Payroll Manager, your main duties will include:
Temporary Payroll Manager Experience
It is essential that you have previous Payroll experience, ideally as a Payroll Officer or Manager.
You must be confident working to tight deadlines and able to remain calm when under pressure.
You will be numerically confident and a good user of MS Office, particularly Excel, as you will be required to utilise spreadsheets containing V Look Ups and Pivot tables.
High attention to detail, strong communication skills and proof-reading ability will be the key to success in this position.
If you have worked with PBS (Payroll Business Solutions), this would be a major advantage.

- Running the monthly payroll for both UK and international staff
- Acting as the first point of contact for external agencies such as HMRC and international Payroll bureaus
- Managing the application of the various benefits offered to employees
- Reconciling discrepancies
- Producing monthly reports via the in-house HR and Payroll database
- Calculating SSP, SMP etc.
- Working with the pension provider to ensure reports are uploaded accurately
- Any other administrative tasks the client requires support with
