We're looking for an experienced, ambitious and motivated Financial Crime Manager with expertise in financial crime monitoring and/or trade surveillance to be responsible for leading and building out our Financial Crime team. This role reports into the Head of Risk & Compliance.
This is an exciting opportunity to head up and build a new team and make an impact within a company set on changing investing forever.

What you'll do in your first twelve months

• Design, structure and begin to build out and lead our new Financial Crime team
• Enhance, improve and scale our trade surveillance (market abuse) and AML processes
• Work to create, adapt and implement our AML, fraud and trade surveillance controls and processes as we launch across Europe
• Be a point of escalation for managing complex queries or issues relating to financial crime and trade monitoring
• Work closely with Engineering and Operations to embrace new tools and processes that improve our controls
• Advise on new products and features, working with key stakeholders to ensure their compliance with regulation

• You have substantial industry experience, with at least 5 years experience working in financial crime or trade surveillance in a regulated firm
• You have people management experience -
• Ideally you have held similar roles at a retail investment broker, or you have been performing a deputy role and are looking to step up for your next role
• You hold relevant professional qualifications such as CAMS
