Global Markets Group is a $200m business within Information Services segment of the Financial Services group at IHS Markit. We provide a variety of technology capabilities, solutions and services at the center of capital formation for all primary market workflows. Our expertise includes roadshows, deal data and analytics, book building and deal workflows, compliance and reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities - "Your Role"

The Business Development Director is a key player who will collaborate leadership in Information Services, Global Markets Group and our strategic alliances team, participating in evaluation of partnerships, projects and strategic business reviews.

As a deal structure expert, the Director will actively oversee our business development opportunities from idea development to presentation and execution. Further, the Director will be responsible for organizing and analyzing financial models to leverage in our proposals and strategic plans. This role will focus on both Primary Issuance Capital Markets and Secondary Trading with a global prevue of strategic and partnership opportunities.

Job Requirements - "About You"

Skills and Qualifications:

• MBA, MS or equivalent experience in FIG, financial services or consulting
• Prior investment banking experience preferred; specifically, fintech, capital markets and/or bulge bracket
• Sound knowledge of finance, accounting, financial modeling and credit analysis
• Awareness of all firm products, industry and market trends and services offered
• As appropriate, mentoring, coaching and career development of analysts and associates
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
