Purpose of the Role:

Pathway CTM is a growing Social Enterprise, and it is our mission to deliver our Employability Programme (aimed at students aged 15-19), to every school and college in the UK; empowering young people to unlock their true potential and find a valuable place in society! We are on the hunt for a key hire in our close-nit team, to support our business by bringing exciting new employer partners into the Programme and with that, increasing the job opportunities available to our young people, via work experience and apprenticeships, when leaving school or college.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
  • New business development - it is your role to bring on new employer partners and close leads who have shown an interest in the Pathway Programme.
  • This means engaging and collaborating with big brands that will add to our offering of opportunities to young people.
  • You will bring new partners on board and work closely with our account managers to handover and ensure an excellent set up into the Programme.
  • You will propose creative solutions and come up with engaging event ideas and solutions to ultimately help their brand attract interest from our student, teacher and parent network.
  • Strategic in your approach to gaining commitment from employer brands.
  • You will make this role your own, and be supported to be successful in your own right.

Essential skills:
  • Experience of the Early Years Recruitment market (school-leavers and / or graduates).
  • A relationship builder - this is your natural trait.
  • An excellent communicator who can deliver value to all clients and stakeholders.
  • Resilient and strategic thinker.
  • Stakeholder engagement experience, with tested strategies.
  • Starter-Finisher, with no stone unturned in your pursuit to close off what you started.
  • Commercially astute and creative, to see an opportunity, and able to bring this to life.
  • A collaborator who brings people with them.
  • Be a strong character who can handle a face-paced environment, with challenges that come with making change to society!

Desirable skills:
  • Organised with database management and CRM skills.
  • Planned, focused and prioritised.
  • Ability to engage and relate with the young people we serve.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit - enjoy the challenges we face.
