Aviva Ireland are now looking for a Financial Advisor to join us on a 2-year fixed-term contract (FTC). This exciting role is working with our Life Lead to deliver our developed strategy to service our growing existing customer base.

The role will work with and support the broader team to explore business opportunities in servicing existing policies and driving excellent customer service.

In 2020 Aviva introduced "smart working" so this role can be based out of our Galway, Dublin or Cork offices.

The role's duties & responsibilities:

  • Providing professional advice in developing clear financial plans for new and existing customers, while delivering outstanding customer satisfaction
  • Managing & processing customer queries on a day-to-day basis, making decisions in the interests of customers which are properly balanced
  • Driving analysis of the existing book to inform segmented approach to the customer contact strategy
  • Working with our MI and ALPI Retention team to develop a full suite of MI to optimally analyse our customer base & advise strategy
  • Providing professional advice in developing clear financial plans for new and existing customers, while delivering outstanding customer satisfaction
  • Adhering to appropriate risk management procedures to control, supervise and report on business activities
  • Promoting an enthusiastic and competitive atmosphere, while cultivating an excellence-oriented environment
  • Ensuring good working relationships are developed and maintained with business partners
  • Supporting & improving the way we work by challenging the status quo
  • Where there are no direct reports to this role, there is an element of management / supervision of individuals who are arranging a financial service and giving advice

Skills & experiences required:

  • QFA qualified and ideally interested in further continuous development
  • Robust recent commercial experience in a Financial Advisor role
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements of the Central Bank
  • Track record of analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Confidence with interpersonal and communication abilities
