We are recruiting for a Capacity Planner to join the UK Operations Planning within Aviva.

It's an exciting time for our UK Operations planning team. We are growing and looking for a new team member to help deliver effective planning in all areas of our operations.

As part of a central team of planners and a member of the Planning Professional Forum, we're passionate about sharing learnings and developing new methods which allow us to be close to the customer but also part of a group of likeminded problem-solvers driving forward innovation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Updating and maintaining a 12-month rolling capacity plan to support Aviva UK Operation's resource strategy.
  • Understanding key demand drivers, using past trends and events combined with business insight to predict future demands/resource requirements.
  • Analysing supply data and updating assumptions to predict available resource.
  • Presenting assumptions and resource requirements in monthly assumption reviews to relevant partners.
  • Supporting key partners across UK Operations by contributing to an operation that improves year on year (efficiency, customer, value), by identifying and communicating insight relating to resource planning.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with influencers of demand such as Marketing and Pricing.
  • Working alongside the Financial Planning team and considering the annual budget when making resource recommendations.

Skills & Experience required:

  • Capacity planning experience or experience in a similar analytical role.
  • You have excellent analytical and numerate ability.
  • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • You can deliver through others and work as an individual contributor.

  • Salary of £27,000 to £30,000 depending on skills, experience and qualifications.
