The Company

The Role 

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper, or a part-qualified accountant who would be excited to work at our contemporary, campus-style office at Croxley Business Park, near Watford. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for all the day-to-day accounting needs of the firm, including bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, preparation and processing of invoices, regular internal reporting, liaising with our suppliers and service providers as necessary and generally making sure our financial records are in excellent shape.  

We are looking for an experienced individual who is self-motivated; well organised; has an astute eye for detail and takes pride in their work.   

 

This is not a junior role and requires an independent; methodical and self–disciplined approach. The suitable candidate must be able to think on their feet; solve problems and work under their own initiative.  Strong communication skills are also essential, as we work as a close team. The role would suit an individual who is confident; highly organised and handles their work load effectively, with the ability to work under pressure. Someone who aims to please our clients and strengthen our company image would fit in well at FixMyPension.com. 

Skills and Experience 

We are looking for somebody with a proven track record of performing book-keeping and general finance administration.  An understanding of the workings of a financial services firm would be desirable but not essential.   

 

Above and beyond fulfilling the basic financial requirements of the firm, we are looking for someone who will be able to advise us and contribute ideas on how best to manage and organise our finances.  

Proven IT Skills are essential, in particular MS Word & Excel, along with solid proven experience of Xero accounting software. Experience of MS Office 365 is desirable.
