Mortgage Servicing Project Manager - Up to GBP70k

Our client, a financial services company, is seeking a Mortgage Servicing Project Manager to join their growth story.

Job Purpose:

The key purpose of this role is to project manage the ambitious programme of planned enhancements to the servicing system and operational processes as well as smaller projects. The role will require the job holder to work with business stakeholders and external suppliers under the direction of the programme manager, on multiple initiatives concurrently which may be both small scale business process improvements and larger scale change initiatives. The role involves line management of a small team of staff responsible for supporting and enhancing the system, based in the UK and Bangalore.


- Experience in an IT Project Management role is essential.
- Experience of line managing a team of business analysts is essential.
- Experience of a full project lifecycle and a track record of managing multiple initiatives concurrently is essential.
- Experience working in the mortgages sector is essential.
- Demonstrable stakeholder management experience is essential.
- Detailed knowledge of the project lifecycle and a variety of project approaches is essential.
- Advanced level skills in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Project and - Visio are essential.

- Previous experience in implementing 3rd party solutions and working with 3rd party suppliers
- Previous experience working within a mortgage servicing environment.
- Previous experience working with multi-location or offshore internal clients.
- Intermediate knowledge of the mortgage servicing process.
- Intermediate knowledge of mortgage operations.


- GSCE/GCE qualifications in both maths and English are essential
- Project management qualifications (e.g. Prince2) are desirable
- BCS/ISEB Business Analysis diploma level is desirable

This role involves occasional travel within the South East of England
