They are currently seeking a Property Asset Manager to join their head office in Redhill, Surrey. The main purpose of this role is to take responsibility for delivering their 30 year property investment programmes, ensuring that their strategy is successfully delivered and achieves best value for the business.

With a budgetary responsibility of up to GBP7M, you will lead a small team of surveyors, health and safety and other specialist staff (such as gas and electric) to deliver an investment programme of refurbishment work and minor construction projects as well as supporting the management of cyclical maintenance. You will also be responsible for health and safety regarding legionella, electrical supply / appliances and gas.

A key aspect of the role will be your ability to work with our property data to ensure that we optimise areas such as phasing repairs, reducing responsive maintenance costs and you will get involved with major refurbishment projects and advising on regeneration.

The successful candidate will have worked within a similar role previously, will have a personal drive to maximise asset performance and will have a commitment to sustainability. You will be a strong communicator who can liaise effectively at all levels and you will have proven property management experience along with knowledge and experience of the construction or maintenance industry, including health and safety. Strong commercial acumen and budget skills are a must as is the ability to make effective decisions backed by a strong sense of judgement and clear thinking.
