Job Title: Head of Quality / Quality Manager (WBL / Apprenticeships)

Location: National

Salary: GBP50,000 - GBP60,000 + Benefits

Type: Full Time, Permanent

KM are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a private training organisation who is looking to appoint an experienced Head of Quality.

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the effective management and implementation of quality management processes, to meet requirements of awarding bodies, SFA and OFSTED for Apprenticeship delivery.

Applicants must hold experience of working at this level within the Work Based Learning / Skills sector on a National basis.

Duties include:

- Overall responsibility for the quality improvement provision across all areas of delivery (nationally), specifically for improvement in teaching, learning and assessment.
- Responsible for completing Self-Assessments and Quality Improvement Plans across the business, along with Matrix accreditation action planning, managing the quality assurance strategy and implementation of the quality learner journey.
- Act as the 'go to` person for all updates regarding qualifications, quality assurance and assessment.
- Develop and implement quality improvement plans / strategies and ensure processes are measured and monitored effectively.
- Ensure that quality and compliance standards are maintained to the highest standard in line with Ofsted / SFA and other funding organisation requirements.
- Monitor and report changes in quality and compliance trends on the learner journey
- Coach and develop the team to improve performance overall
- Maintain knowledge of funding changes.
- Producing regular reports for Directors / Key Stakeholders on funding and quality performance across the business.

Essential Criteria:

- It is essential to have proven experience of performing a similar Quality Manager / Head of Quality role within the Work Based Learning / Skills sector on a national basis
- Extensive quality improvement background
- Experience and knowledge of Ofsted, Common Inspection Framework, SFA requirements and Matrix accreditation
- Excellent understanding of the quality standards set by Ofsted
- Full, clean driving license and use of a vehicle
- Must be flexible with national travel
