Network Healthcare is currently seeking an Early Intervention and Restorative Justice Coordinator to be based in Buckinghamshire on a full time, permanent basis.
Buckinghamshire Youth Offending Service (YOS) is a multi-agency partnership working to reduce offending and reoffending by young people in Buckinghamshire, in addition to providing services for parents/carers and victims. Buckinghamshire YOS is successful, innovative and fully committed to developing effective practice in partnership with Children's Services, Health, Police, Probation and various voluntary agencies.
With an office in Aylesbury and a hot desking 'Hub' in Wycombe the team is comprised of professionals from a range of backgrounds including Police, Probation and Social Care. Working closely with partner agencies, we seek to deliver high quality and effective services that reduce the risk of reoffending, risk of harm to others and the young person's vulnerability.
The main purpose of this position is to develop and delivery Early Intervention and Restorative Justice Services within the Youth Offending Service whilst managing a team of staff from various agencies including two Police Officers and EI Officer and a Restorative Justice Worker. In addition you will also be responsible for the pre court join decision making panel. You will be expected to recruit, train and supervise a range of volunteers such as panel members, mentors, appropriate adults and deliver services to victims in line with the victims code of practice.
In order to be considered for this position candidate must:

• Hold a degree in a related subject
• Have substantial experience of working within the Youth Justice field
• Have extensive knowledge and experience of Restorative Justice practice
• Have an excellent knowledge and understanding of Pre Court processes and interventions
• Have previous experience managing and supervising staff
