We're seeking an Engineering Tutor / Assessor in Milton Keynes. Are you who we're looking for? We need a qualified tutor/assessor, with heaps of Mechanical Engineering experience; someone who enjoys bringing their industry knowledge and experience to learners, allowing them to positively shaping their learner experiences. Bonus points if you already have a verifier qualification but it's not a deal breaker as the company are happy to take someone on for this role who has extensive experience within WBL and Engineering, and wants to work towards obtaining their V1 (IQA) qualification. Engineering Tutor / Assessor: The essentials.

* Assessment/Assessing/Assessor Qualifications (A1,TAQA, CAVA, ACWE, AVRA, IQAA, A2)
* Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd, 7407)
* Literacy and Numeracy Qualifications (at Level 2 or Above)
* Knowledge of government funded employment and training programmes

Engineering Tutor / Assessor: Your experience.

* Occupational history and competence within the industry
* Experience in a similar role
* Planning and delivering vocational training programmes and workshops
* 5 years minimum of Mechanical Engineering experience

Engineering Tutor / Assessor: The desirables.

* Verifier Qualification (IQA, V1, CAVA, EQA, AIQAPP, CLIQAAP, AEQAPP, CLEQAAP)

Engineering Tutor / Assessor: The organisation.

Engineering Tutor / Assessor: The role.

* In this role you will be tasked with teaching and assessing engineering qualifications up to Level 3 standard to classes of 15 learners per class.
* Both practical and theoretical elements will be covered.
* The vast majority of this role will be classroom based, with only small amounts of Work Based Learning involved.
* Qualifications you will cover include Mechanical Engineering, Composite Engineering, and PEO.
* Functional Skills delivery will be required sporadically, so it is beneficial that you can deliver these in Maths, English, and ICT up to Level 2 standard.
* The company are happy to take someone on for this role who has extensive experience within WBL and Engineering, and wants to work towards obtaining their V1 (IQA) qualification. They will put you through this, as they are looking for someone who could also IQA.
* GBP28,000 to GBP32,000 per annum
* 25 days annual leave + bank holidays + your birthday off
