*** Key Stage Leader
*** SME for teaching School in Kent
*** April or September 2017 start???interviewing now!!

My client Principal is seeking the help of an experienced Science Teacher to work in their dynamic and thriving Science department. The ideal new Science Teacher will be an expert practitioner who has experienced of mentoring NQTs and who has a real passion to ensure that the quality of teaching in the department is second to none.

The school is affiliated with a teaching school so for the right candidate, there may be the opportunity to travel between schools as a subject matter expert (SME) and to coach the teachers to excellence. The Science Teacher and SME must be a highly organised individual who can balance the workload of a teacher with the need to travel between schools and coach as an SME.

The Science Teacher will be teaching at Key stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Pupils at the school are motivated and keen to learn and pupil behaviour is excellent. The Secondary School is looking for someone, ideally with pastoral experience, to lead Key Stage 3 who can continue with and support the schools mission towards pastoral and academic excellence.
The Science Teacher role is available from April, but for the right candidate the Principal will wait until September. Interviews will be carried out in February/March, so please do no delay in applying if this role seems right for you.

The Secondary School is a successful and flourishing 11-18 co-educational school in Medway with approximately 1000 on roll. The school was rebuilt recently and provides it's pupils with modern, exceptionally well-resourced facilities; yet the school ethos is founded on traditional values. The School was graded a "Good" school by Ofsted in its last inspection.
So, if you are a Science Teacher who is looking to share your expertise and you really wants to teach your subject to an excellent standard to inspire your pupils, then please send your CV to John at EduStaff today.

Please note: due to the volume of Science Teacher applications, only successful applicants will be contacted
