As part of its future strategy, Medcom Personnel is seeking to strengthen its Business Development and Marketing Capability and are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager with a strong background in marketing, project management and operational leadership to help ensure that adults and children, individuals and families who are affected by a wide range of various occurrences receive the care and support they need and deserve.

Business Development Manager job description:
- Identifying and researching new commercial opportunities, devising strategies and completing and submitting tenders on sales in UK and Abroad.
- Ensure long term relationships are built, developed and maintained with the customer base pursuing additional income streams.
- Regular meetings and dialogue with the Branch Manager on competitor news/developments and detailed feedback on issues preventing new business wins.
- Have regular dialogue with product management on target accounts.
- Actively market the company and promote a positive personal / professional profile within the local community, ensuring the good reputation of the company at all the times.
- Prepare and issue regular Management Reports within the prescribed timescales.
- Assist in preparing budgetary recommendations, complies data for operational reports and analyses setting forth progress, trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
- To carry out compulsory administration procedures in accordance with the appropriate manual.
- Provide staff training and encourage other staff as necessary, identify staff training needs and report to Branch Manager.

THE CANDIDATE
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A Proven track record of preparing tenders and marketing
- Professional telephone manner
- Knowledge and experience of MS word and excel
- Friendly, confident, well-presented and customer-focused
- Genuine interest in working within a caring environment
- Excellent Presentation and organisational skills and self-disciplined approach.
- At least knowledge of more than one language
- Strong business background and business knowledge with experience of creating plans and meeting targets
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve excellent results
- Ability to work together in an environment of equality, trust and respect to deliver services that strive to exceed the needs and expectations of beneficiaries, clients and customers.
- DBS checked (This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check).

Hours: 37.5 Hours a week

Qualifications required:
- Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in BA or similar degree.
- More than 1 year working experience.

- Bachelor's

Required licence or certification:
- Driver Licence
