Do you want to work for a company that really makes a difference? We now have fantastic 6 month temporary opportunity for a Lettings Officer to join our Housing Services at Bath Row. This position is temporary for 6 months with a potential 3-6 month extension.

Title: Lettings Officer
Ref: 2642
Location: Bath Row, Birmingham
Salary: GBP23,167 rising to GBP24,837 per annum after successful completion of probation
Hours: 35 Hours per Week
Contract Type: Temporary

As a Lettings Officer you are responsible for allocating properties to customers with minimal void loss ensuring any support needs are identified and will work with the Asset Management team to ensure that the new home is in a satisfactory condition. You will also co-ordinate and administer he process for re-letting of empty properties so that homes are empty for the shortest period possible.

We are looking for people who:
- Can promote mutual exchange to tenants of Midland Heart and Homes Direct partners leading to an increased number of mutual exchanges among social housing tenants
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of the lettings processes, housing law and different tenures
- Can demonstrate effective communication with a range of internal and external customers both internally and collectively
