About me support are currently looking for a new Registered Manager in the Wrexham area for a home for a number of challenging young people aged between 10 and 16 years.

Our client is an exceptionally well regarded provider of care to Children with varied levels of EBD. They offer exceptional rehabilitation services and specialist educational programs for the development of these children to further their lives as normal in the community.

Based around the area of Wrexham or commutable, you must have previous experience of working in these types of environments and hold a QCF level 5 in Leadership and Management with preferably an NVQ or QCF level 3 tailored towards Children and Young People.

You will need to be a current Registered manager in a similar service with a minimum 2 years commercial experience in a registered managers role

Job role:

To liaise with local authorities, Social Workers and Families in order to commission the service.

Implementing all procedures for the home in line with companies policies.

To ensure the base home provides and maintains the highest levels of care and service in accordance with the companies mission, vision, policies and procedures.

To provide professional support, guidance and supervision to other Home Managers within the Locality under the direction of the Regional Manager.

To ensure person centred care plans are established, renewed, maintained and implemented for each child or young person.

To manage effectively and efficiently all allocated resources of the home, both human and financial.

To plan the daily and weekly management of the home and support and ensure that the shift leaders and support staff carry out their duties and responsibilities.

To work with professional colleagues to ensure each child or young persons best interests are identified and plans established to meet them.

To work with the Regional Manager to implement, create and monitor a framework of care systems to enable the above.

To manage and prepare staff rota's

To be involved and adjudicate in staff disciplinary procedures.

Salary is up to GBP40,000 + CA + Benefits.
