Our client is an established care operator seeking a Registered Care Home Manager for a their purpose-built residential and dementia care home in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire.

This an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager who will be responsible for all areas of home management including auditing, risk assessments, safeguarding, staff supervision and guidance, training, occupancy, medication management, budgeting, care planning, motivating the team, promoting resident independence and, underlying all of this, always ensuring high quality care is being provided.

The successful candidate will understand the importance of establishing a highly visible presence in the local community and building good relationships with local healthcare professionals. You must have an excellent understanding of CQC standards and have the skills to ensure that these are met and maintained.

As the Registered Manager you will be pivotal to the well-being and advancement of the home and the team and so you must have strong leadership and communication skills.

The successful candidate must have previous experience in a similar setting, with specific understanding of care for older people and those with dementia. You must have your Level 5 or equivalent as well as other relevant qualifications to support your application.
