An established and well respected organisation is seeking a Payroll Officer to join its finance shared service centre. This role will be reporting to the Payroll Manager and will be working in partnership with stakeholders to support the delivery of an engaging and effective employee benefits package.

Duties and responsibilities:

* To work within a team to manage and process end to end UK payroll, fleet administration and employee benefits related activities

Skills and experience required:

* Payroll management qualification is desirable or working towards this qualification (CIPP)
* Experience of working within a transactional payroll processing function
* In-depth working knowledge of PAYE, NIC, salary sacrifice and statutory payments
* Good understanding and knowledge of HMRC compliance
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and SAP
* Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
* Proactive, adaptable and flexible in working practices

Hours:

* 37.5 hours per week (flexible working)

Salary and benefits:

* GBP24,000 - GBP26,000
