Our organisation in Dublin are currently representing a leading retail bank, in their focus to appoint a SREP Manager for their Dublin office.

The primary purpose of the Manager of Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process (SREP) is to support and design all activities for the Group in the area of the Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process.

This entails, in particular, leadership of cross-functional working groups to produce the Group's ICAAP, ILAAP, RRP and Stress Testing Framework.

Key duties of the position include:

* Provide assistance on the coordination of all activities for the Group in the area of the Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process (SREP) for the Group.
* This entails, in particular, support of cross-functional working groups to produce the Group's ICAAP, ILAAP, RRP and Stress Testing Framework.
* Oversee the Group's Stress Testing framework ensuring that it complies with regulatory requirements and in addition provides insight to the Board and its Committees as to the resilience of the Group's financial position and performance.
* Ensure excellence in keeping the highest standards in terms of documentation produced to demonstrate the breadth of activities taken so as to leave the Group in a confident position for any supervisory reviews which might take place.
* Ensure that SREP activities are integrated into the Group's Annual Planning Process; working with the Head of Financial Risk and the Group CRO to write the Risk Function opinion of the Group's Budget and MTP.
* Act as a key point of liaison with the Joint-Supervisory-Team in respect of the SREP process, ensuring that the breadth of activities undertaken are appropriately communicated and that the Group fully actions any feedback received.
* Prepare and present papers to the ExCo, ALCO, Group Risk Committee and Board Risk and Compliance Committee in relation to SREP matters.
* Ensure that the Group stays up to date on latest and best practice in this area through a combination of research and networking.
* Keep up to date on regulation updates related to the ICAAP/Pillar 2 and disseminate this knowledge to the broader team.
* Support production of insightful Enterprise wide Risk MI for the CRO

The successful candidate will...

* Be Bachelor's degree qualified
* Be a seasoned professional with experience, expertise and specialist knowledge in Risk in particular in ICAAP, ILAAP and RRP
* Have the ability to communicate risk and risk strategies to executive management
* Have strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Have detailed knowledge, understanding and experience of constructing and implementing risk frameworks
* Have experience with providing training, create risk response strategies and provide support for senior management on risk
* Be a lateral thinker, comfortable working with ambiguity and with an ability to interpret and solve complex issues where there is no guidance or rule book
* Be an excellent communicator with strong inter-personal and influencing skills. Confident working with Executive management, regulators and external third parties. Have gravitas and an engaging presence
* Have experience at a highly respected strategy consulting or management consulting firm or diverse professional experience with a significant portion aligned with strategy or internal consulting roles for a large organization
