Job Title: Teacher of Year 6

M3 - UPS3

April 2017

Do you want a real challenge and to progress your career with colleagues who are just as ambitious? Would you like to be recognised professionally for your achievements and have access to a plethora of professional development opportunities?

I am recruiting for a teacher of Year 6 for a multi-academy trust based in Medway. This family of schools include one secondary grammar, one 4 - 19 academy and four primary schools. The vision for the Trust is summed up in their strapline: Aspire, Achieve, Excel. Through a relentless focus on the quality of teaching, pupil progress and leadership, all children in Trust schools are enabled to enjoy their learning, to develop 21st century skills for life and work to achieve beyond their expectations.

Are you a classroom teacher who wants to focus on what you do best - teach? If appointed to this role you would benefit from joint planning with all Year 6 teachers allowing you to share expertise as well as the workload, reduced planning time provides more time for assessment and differentiation. We also encourage peer making and assessment during lesson time to further reduce workload in the afternoon. This enables our teachers to retain autonomy in planning to meet the needs of their classes thereby developing a creative approach to teaching and learning.

This trust are seeking talented, passionate teachers who truly wish to inspire our pupils to realise their goals. As a Year 6 teacher you will work with like-minded colleagues who share your goals and ambitions. All of our academies are developing and there will be plenty of opportunities for promotion and development should you want this, equally if your focus is in the classroom we would support your ongoing development.

About the school:

This role is in a two form entry primary school based near Rochester. If you are a teacher who truly wants to make a difference, then we would love to hear from you. As a member of the Trust we have high expectations of our pupils many of whom start with disadvantages and we need to work hard to ensure they realise their goals. The achievement of our pupils isn't easily won but you will make a difference and change the lives of every pupil.

The school has a strong ethos of student welfare therefore any successful applicant will undergo a full CRB check. For more information please contact James Fazzani at Capita Education Resourcing on (Apply online only) or email your CV
