For this Geography Teacher post you should be a committed Geography Teacher who has been recognised as a 'Good' or better teacher in recent observations and has a fresh, motivational teaching philosophy. The school wants to meet a Geography Teacher who can demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning and an enthusiastic and positive manner in the classroom. Ideally, the school need a Geography Teacher who is able to get to know their new environment quickly and ensure that their approach to teaching mirrors the school's vision and ethos. You must be a Geography Teacher that possesses a calm and considered approach in the classroom and detailed insight into all aspects of the curriculum. If you are able to deliver key Geography concepts across KS3, KS4 and KS5 in an engaging and memorable way, then you are exactly what our partner school are looking for!

About the Geography Teacher role

As a Geography Teacher at this school you will be teaching as part of a well supported Humanities Department. All staff within the department are encouraged to approach education in a holistic manner. Your teaching will need to be dynamic to mix well with the current departmental philosophy which relies on new, fresh ideas to captivate the attention of learners. There will be the opportunity to teach up to A-Level so previous experience at this level is advantageous although not essential. Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) who are looking for a school to complete their NQT Induction Year are encouraged to apply as well as Geography teachers who hold more teaching experience.
