A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager with a background in Asset Finance to join a specialist bank.

Based from home and covering the North East & Yorkshire, you will primarily be tasked with developing business by generating new broker leads in the automotive dealership sector.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

-Initial broker visit to identify their market and if it is appropriate
-Evaluating broker`s integrity.
-Ensuring brokers trading agreements come in and are signed appropriately.
-Ensuring broker`s regulatory compliance
-Checking broker system reports and contacting existing, but non-active, brokers, to re-establish business levels.
-Maintaining existing broker relationships.
-Identifying brokers with a large sales force with a view to building individual relationships.
-Canvassing existing brokers for more contacts/recommendations.
-Prepare papers for credit committee
-Understand motor dealers and their structures, with the ability to do a drive-by and acknowledge the quality of the dealership by way of stock and customer.

Qualifications/Experience

-Experience in a similar role is essential
-Knowledge of the broker industry
-Knowledge of CCTA documentation
-Knowledge of the motor and general asset finance markets is also essential
-A clean driving license is essential.

On offer is a salary of circa GBP40,000 per annum, company bonus/car allowance, laptop, mobile phone and a benefits package.

Due to the locations covered within this role, applicants must be resident within the north of England (ideally between Newcastle and Leeds)
