Branch Manager

Our client, a successful and well established building society, are currently recruiting for a Branch Manager for their branches in Corby, Rothwell and Kibworth.


- Undertaking customer savings reviews and insurance sales

- Maintaining & sharing a high level of product & procedural expertise, communicating in a positive and enthusiastic manner

- Build a team, which through training and performance management will deliver beyond our customers' expectations

- Providing mentoring and support to ensure correct policies, processes and procedures are followed, and compliance is embedded within the Branch

- Ensure smooth operation of allocated Branches

- Communicating and implementing marketing campaigns, supporting activities to enhance the profile and reputation within the local community

- Setting realistic and achievable objectives and developing individual staff training plans

- Conducting regular one to ones offering support and identifying areas for development

- Feeding back information from Management meetings to ensure staff are aware of key matters

- Taking ownership for your own training and development requirements

- Adhering to the Data Protection and Security Policy

Skills and experience required:

- Supervisory experience of managing a team

- Certificate in Mortgage Advice & Practice (CeMAP)

- Customer service experience

- Microsoft Office including Word Excel and PowerPoint

- Experience working in Financial Services

- Experience in motivating a team to achieve objectives

- Ability to communicate at all levels

- Calm and focussed in challenging situations

- Ability to work alone or within a team

- Flexible and adaptable

- Passionate about what you do
