Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting a Purchase Ledger Team leader for a hugely successful and respected service based business. Due to a recent restructure of the department they are looking for a competent individual to oversee the payments side of the Purchase Ledger as well as providing the day to day management of an established team.

This will be a varied role, reporting to the Financial Controller. Key responsibilities will include:

- Team supervision day to day management and dealing with any escalations
- Monitoring output of the department in terms of both productivity and quality of work
- Managing any training needs and requirements to ensure adequate cover is in place in all areas across the department
- Operate as a system super user for the department
- Look at ways of continually improving the department operations and efficiency's to ensure best practice and maximum level of output and work flow
- Producing regular weekly reports to management
- Carrying out bank reconciliations and supplier reconciliations
- Monitoring and reviewing aged creditor reports
- Liaise with other departments in order to resolve queries

To be successful you MUST have the following skills and experiences:

*At least 3 - 5 years previous accounts experience
*Previous supervisory experience
*Ability to manage and prioritise team's workload
*A proven track record in streamlining processes
