Senior Staff Nurse / Team Leader ( RMN / RNLD )
Service: Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre
Location: South East London
Salary: Circa GBP18.00 Hour (GBP35,000+ per annum)
Hours: Full-time, permanent position

We are currently looking for qualified and experienced nurses to work within a Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in South East London. The Service provides person-centred inpatient rehabilitation and care for adults with a brain injury or other complex neurological conditions. The Service is commutable from local tube, train stations and bus stops.

This exciting and dynamic role will place you at the heart of a multi-disciplinary team delivering excellent standards of care and rehabilitation; promoting independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals.

As a Team Leader you will:

* Work collaboratively with your team applying effective leadership, supervision and motivational skills ensuring the shift is managed and resources are deployed effectively to meet the changing needs of the business, promoting high standards of nursing care at all times.
* Play an active role within the rehabilitation team to meet the patients' individual rehabilitation goals.
* Work closely with patients to promote greater independence and personal choice and engagement in a wide range of activities within an environment which is conducive to their varied and complex needs, helping them to realise their potential to live as independently as possible.
* Actively contribute in clinical and nursing reviews ensuring accurate and concise written and verbal feedback is provided regarding the patients' care.

Job Requirements

* RMN / RNLD qualified with a valid NMC registration and PIN
* Experience in working in a senior / supervisory nursing position
* Have a flexible attitude and wholly adopt a person-centred ethos, showing empathy and a desire to make a difference.
* Possess excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to deliver concise, detailed reports.
* Be up to date with current practices, demonstrate strong leadership and management qualities and be willing to take ownership for the delivery of quality care.
* Experience of working with acquired brain injuries and/or in a neurological rehabilitation setting would also be desirable.
