Our client, a successful manufacturer is looking to add a stand alone Payroller to the business.

You will be solely responsible for running a large weekly and monthly Payroll.

The successful applicant will need to have held a similar position elsewhere and have the experience as detailed below:

• Running a large weekly and monthly Payroll
• Calculating and monitoring hours worked and absence using the company's T&A system
• Processing of Starters and Leavers
• Year End and P11D reporting
• Working knowledge of UK income tax and National Insurance calculations
• Knowledge of Statutory Payments (SSP/SMP/SPP/SAP)
• Experience working on large volume Payrolls
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Demonstrate high levels of confidentiality, honesty and integrity

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment, while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

We are looking for someone who, in addition to being numerate and analytical is also IT literate (with experience of Excel, working with a computerised payroll package and a Time and Attendance System).

Previous knowledge / experience of working with weekly and monthly payroll is essential.
