Master Data Team Leader

Our client is seeking a TL who is able to multi task across 3 massively busy teams to push the team forward, monitor and support and oversee and monitor things like sickness, lateness etc.

For example the Master Data team has a backlog due to SAP issues so the TL will need to work with the team and supervisor to plan workload, monitor progress and ensure the team are thinking logically ie if dealing with a balance sheet query asking why is it outstanding and has a journal been raised etc?

The ideal candidate needs to be able to understand processes quickly, make decisions and have the gravitas to push teams thus helping to free up the team managers time. the team amangerwould be available for clarity and for escalations but ideal person will be able to make decisions as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support with the management of a team of 11 with 3 direct reports
• Review and approve month end Balance sheet accounts
• Support the Controls and Compliance Assistant Manager with the migration of balances from Oracle to SAP
• Journal approvals
• IFRS & Balance Sheet Reviews
• Ensure the investigation of all aged debt and management all debit balances forclients divisions, including the preparation of any provisions required for aged debit balances on the creditors ledger
• Produce all necessary management information regarding these responsibilities and present and improve this data on an ongoing basis
• Ensure that process weaknesses/breakdowns are resolved in a timely manner
• Provide direct management of team members and cover for other management colleagues within the Accounts Payable team
• Ensure the accounts payable ledgers are maintained with integrity
• Resolve queries and issues escalated by the team and escalate upwards where required
• Manage the production of SOP's manuals (SAP Operating Procedures)
• Manage and Review Coso Controls
• Manage the production of all necessary SLA and KPI statistics
• Ensure that appropriate checks are conducted on employee expense claims, and ensure that the expenses policy is regularly reviewed and updated
• Ensure that process weaknesses/breakdowns are resolved in a timely manner
• Undertake other adhoc activities as deemed necessary
• Manage the Data integrity of the Master Data within SAP and aid with the current backlog in the team

• Ability to manage and develop a multi-disciplined team including day-to-day operations
