Design Manager

Our Client is a design company based in South East London specialising in large displays and decorations for retail, leisure and events and a recognised market leader within this sector. They provide an interesting and fast paced environment and an opportunity to work within an innovative, friendly and exciting team creating cutting edge designs for a wide range of prestigious clients.

The Role
The established Design Department comprises a Creative Director, Department Manager and Design Assistant. As the business is seasonal, a varying number of sub contractors are also incorporated into this department at different times of the year. The role advertised involves working alongside and supporting the Director and Manager creatively, allowing them to spend time out of the office with clients. As well as working creatively, the successful candidate will need to co-ordinate the booking, and managing of the sub-contractors alongside managing the design budgets and workflow of the department. The department produces design and presentations for company client pitches as well as drawing and plans to assist the Production Department.

In late October and November the role requires working around the country at night, sometimes outside, to ensure designs have been correctly installed from an aesthetic perspective.
