My client is a registered charity who provide support for people with learning disabilities. They specialise in mental health, care at home, challenging behaviour, autism and complex needs. The organisation now employ over 450 staff across numerous geographies including; Aberdeen, Dumfries and Galloway, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Inverclyde and North Ayrshire with the opportunity to expand into other areas on the horizon.

As a Team Leader / Depute Manager within care services, you will be responsible for the overall professional management of the direct provision, supervision, and quality assurance of the care and support provided. You will lead the local staff team, be a role model for staff and ensure that the end user is pivotal in the direction of the business. As this is a community based post, the Manager is ever present as the face of the brand with stakeholders and external interest.

The Depute Manager role will:
* Hold ultimate responsibility for the smooth delivery of our daily care services.
* Be responsible for the line management and supervision of assigned staff involved in delivery care services.
* Work alongside the senior management team in helping to sign up, set up and retain long-term clients and care staff, committing to each client and employees best interests.
* Work alongside the senior management team in ensuring all employees are performing in their role as defined in their job descriptions and Company Policies/Procedures and in line with relevant industry codes of practice, SSSC and National Care Standards and supporting them in their personal development.
* Monitor and ensure compliance of the service in line with inspectorate expectations and standards, and handling all interactions with them.
* Set an outstanding example of professionalism to Care Workers, by promoting the very best attitude and care standards to which they can aspire.
* Oversee the initial meetings and follow up of all potential new customers from carrying out initial assessments to the setting up of care packages.
* Ensure development of Care and Support Plans and risk assessments are being effectively carried out by appropriate personnel.

As the successful applicant you will have:
o A background in delivering a similar service
o Knowledge of local authority and private business development
o SVQ 4 In Health and Care OR BA in Social Work OR BA in Community Education
o SVQ4 in Leadership and Management OR RMA OR a recognised Care Management qualification
o The desire to join an organisation that offers expansion and personal grow
