Sewell Moorhouse are recruiting for a local charity that has national coverage and sound expansion plans.

This is a great role for someone that wants to add value and grow with a company, the role will also involve HR and implementing new systems and procedures, a real chance to put your stamp on the organisation.

You will be responsible for all aspects of financial control and internal and external reporting for the organisation, including the creation and consolidation of the budget for the board and management of the annual audit and statutory accounts production

You will log accurate information with Companies House and the Charity Commission in order to ensure relevant legal compliance and provide a complete and comprehensive accounting service including:

-Maintaining Sales and Purchase Ledgers and balancing
-Reporting Sage Line 50 with cash book and bank statements on a monthly basis and producing all required reports
-Produce quarterly management accounts and full year reports for the Board
-Complete the year end finances using Sage Line 50 and prepare the final accounts
-Produce the Annual Report and Accounts including co-ordination of the Trustee Report
-Manage the payroll function

Ideally with a charities background or wanting to work in an environment that adds value to society this will be an exciting role.

You will need to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE or equivalent with a hands on approach to be successful.
