About the Job:

Our client is a centre of Excellence for learners aged 5-25 based in Hertfordshire, very close to the Essex border. They are looking for PMLD Teachers or PMLD Lecturers to join them ASAP. You will be working with Learners aged between 19-25 who have a variety of SEN requirements - some more complex than others. You will be expected to deliver Functional Skills across the City & Guilds Curriculum to sessions of 5 or 6 learners.


To be considered for this role the successful candidate will have:

• QTS, QTLS, DTTLS or Cert.Ed - this is Essential.
• DBS covering Child & Adult workforce on the update service,
• Experience of working with PMLD students is desirable.
• Experience of delivering Functional Skills.
• Previous experience of using PECS or Makaton.

Our client is a Centre for Excellence catering for learners aged from 5-25 who suffer from MLD/SLD/PMLD/ADHD/ASC and other associated complex needs.

They are based in a rural setting on the Essex/Herts borders and are looking to appoint a suitably qualified Functional Skills Lecturers for a number of Temporary, permanent and part-time positions.
