The Role

The Recovery Practitioner will manage the patient experience through the post-operative phase but will also be capable of providing care throughout, from pre-op to discharge, as part of a flexible team, Multi-skilled and comfortable in a wide range of procedures, you will ensure patients complete their surgical recovery without ill-effects and will be able to offer a comforting, reassuring and knowledgeable face for patients who have been through the trauma of general anaesthesia and surgery. While the role will concentrate in the main on the recovery phase, the postholder will be expected to be able to support the team throughout the surgical process from admission to discharge.

One of the UK's largest private healthcare groups, this organisation offers private surgical treatment at multiple locations around the country, in dedicated hospital settings. Covering cosmetic, elective and non-emergency surgery in this Merseyside location which has a surgical suite comprising three theatres.

The Person .

You will be a multi-skilled Recovery Practitioner or ODP with significant experience in recovery and anaesthesia, and will have worked across a broad range of surgical areas. You will be degree-qualified with a valid PIN and you will have at least three years post-grad experience in a surgical team.
