Job Title: Training Coordinator

Role Type: Full Time / Permanent

Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire

Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP35,000

Our client has an exceptional opportunity to join their team in a brand new position within their team. The purpose of this role is to coordinate, follow up and support the training activities for the site. This is a strategic position with the potential for the successful candidate to grow and progress with the scope to really "make it your own". The ideal candidate will be confident, enthusiastic, innovative with a great sense of humour.

The Duties:

- Identify training and development needs throughout the organisation through both job analysis and regular consultation with various senior members of the team

- Work alongside key internal contacts and appropriate external bodies to devise technical training programmes according to organisational requirements.

- Managing the delivery of training and development programmes

- Producing training schedules

- Coordinating delivery of training

- Monitoring and reviewing progress of trainees against learning plans

- Observing and evaluation training and development programme results

- Preparing and submitting KPI reports

- Maintaining curriculum databases and records accordingly

- Coordinating and supporting internal and external audits on training, ensuring completion of follow-up actions

- Coaching and supporting key contacts as necessary within training framework

The Candidate:

- Degree in Education, Training, HR or related field is preferable but not essential, relevant experience is sufficient.

- Proven work experience as a trainer, training facilitator or coordinating multiple training events in a manufacturing setting

- Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation

- Good working knowledge of HRIS and learning management systems / delivery tools

- Proven ability to complete full training cycle

- Strong working knowledge of both traditional and modern job training methods and techniques

- Proficient in MS Office

- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments

- Strong communication at all levels

- Strategic

- Ability to influence and motivate

- Preferably from a manufacturing background with experience in FMCG
