Location: Yorkshire

We are looking for a Regional Operations Director to work with a portfolio of residential care homes for children with severe learning disabilities and complex needs.

Manage service and delivery expectations;

Management of a portfolio of Residential Care Homes and Education Services that cater for students with learning disabilities including Autism, SLD, and complex challenging behaviour
Strategic development of the region to grow the company and develop new services
To work with Registered Managers in raising Care standards throughout the portfolio.
To become a corporate parent by providing the best possible care and to safeguard the young people who live in the services, ensure young people make the most of every opportunity and equip them to lead as independent life as possible when they leave.
To facilitate available multi-disciplinary support (internally and externally) for the young people that live in the services.
To ensure that the performance of all employees is monitored with regular supervision and appraised annually to the standards prescribed by the group, taking necessary action as required.
To be accountable and responsible for budget control to ensure commercial viability and financial security of the service. Required skills and experience

Significant experience of management in a care setting ideally with children.
extensive knowledge of severe, complex needs and behaviour ideally specialising in Autism (ASD)
Multi-site management experience within Children's Residential Services
Demonstrable track record of achieving good/outstanding OFSTED reports
An ability to work with Local Authorities and Commissioners to develop business
Clear leadership skills and motivation to be the best.
Experience of working in residential school setting is desirable. We need to appoint a strong leader with the passion and drive to take this ambitious care group forward
