Head of School required to lead and deliver a wide range of high quality learning across Key Stage 3 and 4 within an independent school for pupils with Behavioral Emotional and Social difficulties in the Dudley area.

You will join a market leader who is committed to providing innovative residential and Educational care for vulnerable young people with complex needs, who can be behaviourally challenging.

As Head of School you will provide inspirational and purposeful leadership to ensure the school provides outstanding outcomes in line with OFSTED guidelines. You will oversee the day to day running of the education setting and monitor, evaluate and feedback to the senior head teacher about the performance of the educational service.

You will maintain an environment that promotes and secures good teaching, effective learning, high standards of achievement and good behavior, ensuring statutory requirements are met.

You will play a key role in effective and efficient staff management, deployment and overseeing the effective use of resources.

To be a serious contender in the Head of School application process, you must be experienced in the field of education, learning and skills with challenging children and young people. You will also have a knowledge of the requirements of the independent special education sector. You will hold a relevant degree and have QTS status or be PGCE qualified. You will have up to date knowledge and understanding of developments in the National Curriculum at Key stages 2, 3 and 4 and have a proven background in behaviour management and SEN.

An outstanding leader, you will be an expert practitioner who gets good results from learners with SEN and challenging behaviour.
