Salary: GBP34,000 (GBP17.43 per hour)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for motivated and passionate Daycase Sister to join an excellent nursing team on the daycase unit at a very reputable private hospital in Manchester. It is a really exciting time to join the team as they transfer into a brand new hospital site with some of the most up to date facilities in the country. The hospital offers the highest standards of patient care, supported by the latest medical technology, and some of the best local professional expertise in the country to patients from South Manchester, Cheshire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Greater Manchester. The service offers a full range of surgeries, from minor procedures to major operations. There is disabled access to all areas of the hospital. The hospital offers a wide range of treatments across the following specialties: Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Ear, nose and throat, Breast screening, general surgery Gynaecology, Urology and Dermatology. It has an outstanding reputation and is easily accessible via public transport links around Manchester.

What you'll be doing:

* As Daycase Sister you will work in a varied, challenging but rewarding role in a friendly and supportive working environment.
* As Daycase Sister on a daily basis you will work on our day case unit treating a diverse variety of patients from many different specialities, meaning that you will never stop learning new skills and no two days will be the same.
* As Daycase Sister you will get the opportunity to work with some of the region's top consultants so you will be exposed to innovative evidence-based clinical techniques.
* As Daycase Sister you'll have the time to give patients personalised care to a standard you can be proud of.
* Committed to enabling your team to succeed together, you will use your effective clinical leadership and management skills to develop the practice of your team while delivering hands-on, patient-focused care.
* You'll also act as a role model in promoting health, safety and security.

What you'll need:

* As Daycase Sister you will be a qualified Registered General/Adult Nurse (RGN) with some post-qualifying experience.
* As Daycase Sister you will need to be passionate, organised and proactive, with excellent communication skills and good knowledge of CQC and NMC guidelines.
* As Staff Nurse you will need to be registered with the NMC and hold a valid PIN.
