Founded in 1564, Felsted School is a leading independent co-educational Day and Boarding school, situated in the picturesque village of Felsted in North Essex. In 2014 we celebrated our 450th anniversary, one of only a handful of Schools in the country that have claimed this historic milestone.

Felsted School has a thriving music department and we are currently looking for a Teacher of Viola. The School has a strong tradition of music with orchestras and ensembles in both our Preparatory and Senior Schools with many opportunities to perform.

We are looking for a teacher with initiative, vision and the ability to build on the success of our thriving department and contribute to its further development. Like many of our peripatetic staff, you may well perform professionally and will certainly have the confidence, credibility and technical expertise to encourage participation to enable each pupil to reach his or her musical potential.
