Project Manager (Wealth Management) - based in Central London
Paying up to GBP70,000 per annum + great benefits - 6 Months Contract (possible longer-term prospects)

You will be working for a FTSE 250 Asset Manager in the City of London as a Project Manager for 6 Months, with the potential to lead into something longer term. You will work on a variety of projects including strategic change, system changes, increasing business efficiencies, regulatory changes, tax-end releases, amongst others.

Job Summary:
• Responsible for the delivery of 1 medium to large project following the standard Change delivery methodology
• Responsible for running the small change requests coming through the change management team
• Work with one of the existing Project Managers or Senior Change members on 1-2 larger projects
• Assist with team project administration

Required Skills and Experience:
• Ability to run multiple projects concurrently
• 3rd party supplier management and delivery
• Agreeing project objectives
• Organising various personnel working on a project
• Making sure that all the aims of the project are tracked and met
• Making sure the quality standards are met
• Representing the client's or organisation's interests
• Using IT systems to keep track of people and progress
• Self-starter with a willingness to research in order to deliver the best set of outcomes
• Successfully execute the project to agreed schedule, budget and scope
• Perform the relevant project management processes - i.e. initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control and close, and the supporting processes e.g. scope, cost, time, issue, risk, resource, communication, stakeholder management
• Plan the project based on a defined need - results in detailed scope/budget/schedule baseline
• Monitor and control the work to ensure that the project remains on track and in control
• Report on variances to the approved project baseline
• Close the project to formalise acceptance of the project result and release project resources
• Communicate with project team, management and stakeholders
• Manage project work and resources to enable successful and timely completion of the project
• Performs gate reviews and quality assurance reviews with sponsors
• Delivery of projects aligned to overall business and technology strategies and architectures
• Work within defined governance processes
• Support development of business cases with the business sponsors

Minimum experience
• Proven project management experience
• Wealth Management knowledge is desirable but Financial Services as a minimum is essential
• Knowledge and use of industry-standard project methods, tools and techniques e.g. RAIDS, budget, communication
