We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nurse Manager to work in a peripatetic Care Development Management capacity across the South

Travelling around Nursing and Residential Homes in the South region, you will assist with the development and implementation of strategies and plans, provide sound clinical knowledge and make suggestions in relation to the development of the organisation. You will also recruit, train and develop staff, as well as foster close links with local authorities and other public and commercial organisations.

As a Care Development Manager, you will provide interim management support to care homes nationally, supporting the delivery of a commercially viable business to meet CQC, legislative and organisational requirements. Key results areas will include

Staff Management
Economic Viability
Marketing

The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with proven clinical abilities and senior management experience of working in social care as well as sound administrative and analytical skills.
Ideally you will also have experience in change management, a detailed understanding of the Care Standards Act and proven ability in project management.

A management qualification and previous extensive experience of
managing people would be advantageous.

In return the post offers a competitive salary, cGBP50,000 which may be negotiable, full training and development opportunities, as well as 33 days holiday including bank holidays, discount schemes, a contributory pension and a company car or car allowance.
