A leading and rapidly expanding nationwide care provider is currently recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner to join their enthusiastic service which offers a range of care services to patients in custodial settings throughout Norfolk but based in Norwich.

Prior experience within a prison setting is not required, as full training will be given to successful candidates along with continuing training and career development is provided.

You will work between 3 sites, within the wider healthcare team to provide a comprehensive service in conjunction with on-site GPs.

Duties will include:

• Running clinics alongside GPs
• Participating in audits and working with senior members of the healthcare team to review and develop pathways
• Supervising and supporting the healthcare and nursing team in the service
• Taking a key role in Clinical Governance, Medicine Management and Quality and Outcomes Frameworks
• Ensuring KPIs are met and working to achieve compliance

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Registered Adult/General Nurse with NMC PIN
• Have completed a recognised prescribing qualification
• Experienced in the management of long term health conditions
• Enthusiastic, positive and motivated and able to deliver results
• Willing to undertake further professional development

This full time position offers a salary between GBP31,072 and GBP47,559 per annum along with an attractive benefits package which includes free gym access and access to a wide range of discount schemes.
