Part Time SEN Teacher - ASD/SLCN - PPA

I am looking for an outstanding, enthusiastic and creative teacher to join an "outstanding" SEN School (OfSTED 2015).

The ideal candidate will be:

* An outstanding classroom teacher with primary mainstream or special school teaching experience
* Proactive, resourceful and energetic
* Committed to improving the outcomes and life chances of young people with complex special needs
* Committed to continuously improving the learning experience for our children

As a PPA teacher throughout the primary phase you will be responsible for teaching, care and pastoral responsibility for classes of of primary learners, you will however have all work set for you and have limited assessment responsibilities.

The school caters for children and young people aged 4 -19 with social and communication difficulties including autism. Many of the students also have significant learning difficulties so experience in this area and some basic knowledge of PECS and Makaton would be advantageous. The school moved to a brand new purpose built building in September 2015 with outstanding facilities which have brought new and exciting opportunities for enriching the curriculum and learning.
