This long established, successful practice currently requires a Payroll Manager reporting into the Partners. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join a friendly, professional team that has a great working atmosphere and values its staff.
This is an all round role that will see you take responsibility for payrolls from start to finish. The main objective of the role is to manage various client payrolls whilst supporting the development and expansion of the department.
Essential duties include: Completing various Clients' payrolls over various frequencies and all associated related queries including PAYE, NIC, SMP, SSP, starters, leavers, P11D, P60 and all year end duties. Preparing weekly and monthly timesheets, keying and running payrolls, generating essential reports, BACS payments and submitting RTI. Contacting HMRC when required, ensuring all files are up to date at all times and dealing with all auto enrolment queries.
You will already be working in payroll position and ideally have some mentoring, team leading or supervising experience. We will consider candidates looking to take the next step in their career. Candidates must have a strong Payroll Bureau or Practice background with a superb customer focus and a strong motivation to progress. There is also the possibility of qualified training being provided for the right candidate.
