Position: Resourcing Manager (HR - Recruitment and Selection)

Salary: Circa GBP35,000 - GBP40,000 per annum

About the role:

You will proactively lead on recruitment and selection for end to end resourcing and talent attraction across the University in a fast paced HR environment. You will lead on a review of our recruitment strategy and be responsible for ensuring we are seen as a genuine employer of choice in the market place using innovative and appropriate sourcing channels. You will be responsible for championing and further developing an excellent in house recruitment service, which gives great service and value for money. The main focus will be on assisting the business to attract, select and engage the best people who align with their brand, values and behaviours, but who are also results driven, accountable and passionate.

About you:

To be successful in this role you must have a real passion for service excellence. You will have an advanced level qualification in HR or equivalent experience. Extensive recruitment and selection experience, ideally from in house environment is required, as is experience of using innovative resourcing techniques and knowing where to source the appropriate pool of talent and candidates. Experience of electronic applicant tracking systems and budget management is required.

You will have excellent communication skills and the proven ability to influence and persuade at all levels, as well as being a proven people leader who is able to manage, motivate and coach a team. Excellent planning and organisation skills are necessary, as are advanced IT skills/ digital awareness (including use of Social Media). Proven stakeholder management is essential, and you will have a working knowledge of relevant UK employment law, including eligibility to work in the UK, DBS checks and Data Protection. Experience of managing an end to end recruitment service up to senior level is also essential.

You must also have a flexible approach to working hours and the ability to travel in a cost effective method between the University sites. If you are qualified to conduct/interpret psychometric testing this will also be beneficial.
