40 hours available - days only - mix of clinical and supernumerary time

One of the industry's largest and most reputable healthcare groups is looking for a Clinical Services Manager to join their site in Tadworth, Epsom overlooking the beautiful landscaped gardens. This is a high specification care centre developed specifically to provide nursing care for the elderly, those requiring convalescence alongside offering specialist nursing and respite care.

You will be heavily supported by care staff, nursing staff, unit managers, and the home manager alongside a regional manager, area manager, clinical auditors and clinical trainers. You will be guaranteed autonomy in your role as Clinical Service Manager to manage all aspects of clinical deliverance how you see effective whilst following NMC and CQC guidelines and legislation.

Your role will be a mixture of providing clinical hands of care so you know your patients best, whilst directing; supervising and mentoring others to develop their own skills and provide clinical excellence on all units. The role typically offers 2 days clinical the rest supernumerary but this is flexible and negotiable dependent on the needs of the home.

Your role as Clinical Services Manager will be to oversee and support the nursing and care staff in all regulatory standards set out by CQC alongside key duties such as:

* Evaluating and development of patient programmes and care
* Managing care assessment process
* Quality assurance and regulatory compliance
* Nursing team management
* Ensuring all mandatory training and inductions are complete
* Completing staff supervisions
* Family Services
* Provide safe processes for the ordering, administration and disposal of drugs
* Report all compliments, comments and complaints
* Supporting the home manager at all times
