Account Manager required for an IT solutions managed Services provider based in Slough
Account Manager - Slough Based GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 base + Commission

The role of Account Manager is predominantly an Inside Sales role and acts as the point of contact for the customer and develops long term customer relationships. He/she is responsible for delivering against margin sales targets as well as engaging with other stakeholders to deliver customer requirements as necessary. Additionally, the Account Manager will ensure the CRM system is updated accordingly during their contact with the customer.
Achieve annual margin target and deliver against personal, team and company KPI's
Customer retention and growth targets against an assigned set of accounts.
Build and execute a contact strategy for each customer account.
Build strong relationships with decision makers across the account base.
Proactively identify new business opportunities across the account base and work with the relevant department to win the business.
To understand the competitive environment within their customers.
To manage CRM, ensuring that all contact information is current and accurate and any data issues are resolved in a timely way
Develop the skills and knowledge required company portfolio of products and propositions.
Recognises and delivers against opportunities for business growth via a multi-channel approach.
Provide support to field based sales team as and when appropriate
Demonstrable successful track record in a similar sales role in the IT/Telecoms/Internet industry
Previous experience growing and retaining revenues across a given account base
Proven track record of achieving targets and meeting KPIs
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to analyse customer needs and recommend solutions which meet those needs
Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise own workload
Ability to work on own initiative
Able to handle account issues in a patient and friendly manner
