Elevation Recruitment Group are actively recruiting for an immediately available Accounts Assistant to join an expanding Finance team with a business based in central Leeds on a temp - perm basis covering an initial 3-month period before being considered for the permanent opportunity.

The ideal candidate will be available immediately and have experience in all aspects of transactional finance covering the following duties and responsibilities:

*Allocating payments and receipts on Sage, including bank reconciliation
*Purchase ledger
*Sales ledger
*Processing journals as required
*Keep up to date with all supplier information
*Balance sheet control and reconciliation
*Preparing the supplier payments
*Credit control
*Processing of expenses and ensuring they comply with company policy
*Any other ad hoc duties as required
*Use of Sage accounting systems

Elevation would be keen to speak to candidates looking for interim / temp to perm opportunities in central Leeds that have for following skills and experiences:

*Previous experience in working in an accounts team covering all transactional duties
*You will have a working knowledge of the Sage accounting system
*High levels of accuracy and attention to detail are key
*You will be hard working and resilient with the ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment
*The ability to work under your own initiative and autonomously is desirable
