A new vacancy has arisen in the QA team for a QA Co-ordinator. You will be responsible for reviewing processes and the work quality and performance of Client Services staff members. The QA team play an important role in ensuring we are working efficiently and providing good customer outcomes in line with the AJ Bell Guiding Principles, the FCA's Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) outcomes and relevant rules and regulations.

The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:

• Working with Client Services Managers, Head of Departments and Customer Services Director to identify areas where a review is required, followed by delivering the findings of each review and to discussing recommendations.
• Working with the Client Services Manager to create an annual and quarterly QA plan and maximise efficiency of the QA department.
• Meeting with Client Services Managers, Team Leaders and staff to understand processes and procedures, and recording work flow methods.
• Reviewing business areas, processes and tasks closely to identify any issues or areas for improvement.
• Distribute reports to key stakeholders including Managing Directors.
• Liaising with Client Services Managers to ensure follow up actions are completed within set timescales.
• Providing monthly reports for the Risk Committee.
• Assisting the Client Services Manager and Client Services teams in any other areas as required.

You will have:

• The ability to build credible relationships at all levels.
• Effective planning, organisation and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A good knowledge of FCA guidelines, including risk management and compliance issues.
• Sound knowledge of HMRC guidelines.
• The ability to be adaptable and flexible to new scenarios.
• Dedication to quality and a meticulous approach to call monitoring and checking.

Essential skills and experience:

• A substantial amount of experience in a pension/investments administration role.
• All round understanding of AJ Bell products and databases.
• Excellent working knowledge of the group policies and procedures.
• CII Award in Financial Administration or CISI Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) qualifications.
