Person Specification -SEN Teacher
The ideal candidate will be a resolute SEN Teacher who has a track record of 'Good' or better teacher and 2 years' teaching experience. The ideal individual should be able to interpret difficult content with fun, enjoyable activities to keep attention on important issues in class. It is essential for you to possess a calm, pragmatic approach to challenging or difficult behaviour and the level head to manage it effectively in the classroom. The school needs a SEN Teacher who has an inherent ability to inspire and enthral and superb interpersonal and organisational skills. The role involves you teaching as an important member of the effective Inclusion team where you will be promoting all aspects of student development. Part of your role will include gaining more responsibilities as a Lead Teacher for the Alternative Outreach provision while benefiting from many of the facilities including the use of indoor and outdoor learning space.

About the SEN Teacher Role
In this SEN Teacher post you will be working alongside a hard-working TA who is keen to support the development of your class in any way they can. In general, you will be teaching up to and including KS4, shouldering the exciting responsibility of getting students through a difficult time in their young lives and a very important exam period.
