Person Specification

The school are looking for a Physics Teacher, or NQT who has been recognised as a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' teacher in recent observations and preferably some previous experience in an inner city school. The school wants to meet Physics Teacher applicants who have not just high personal expectations but also the skill to transfer this way of thinking to their students. The school needs a Physics Teacher who has a desire to contribute to the ongoing school improvement plans and make their own personal and lasting mark on the school. The perfect Physics Teacher candidate will be able to show their passion for learning, through exciting lesson plans and delivery and deliver good to outstanding lessons.

About the Role

At this growing school, as a Physics Teacher you will be becoming an important part of the industrious Science Department and you will be working in a brand new laboratory with the latest equipment and resources. The Science department are renowned for their excellent performance and teaching and remains very popular within the school. The new Physics Teacher will have the responsibility for general GCSE Science classes in KS3 and KS4. Normal class sizes usually are between 25-30.
