Are you an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher of English? If so, then apply today for the following role in one of our Oldham Schools. The school are looking for a creative and engaging NQT, or experienced member of staff, to join their team as soon as possible.

The school has a newly appointed Leadership Team that are driven to achieve 'Good' and are extremely supportive of all staff members. The school is currently striving for improvement and the Leadership Team have a clear and open vision of how they will achieve success. They pride themselves on an induction programme leading to solid professional development opportunities and they have a fantastic scheme of CPD for the support and development of the staff. The role itself will involve the delivery of English lessons to students in KS3 and KS4, where the department is hoping to capitalise on the improving levels of Teaching and Learning within the school. They have solid schemes of work within the English Department, with many resources available: they actively encourage sharing good practice. The school is a large comprehensive, with high expectations of staff and students. Its location is easily accessed and it has excellent transport links from many parts of Greater Manchester.

The role is to begin as soon as possible, to provide consistency for the current cohort of students sitting their GCSEs. The right candidate for this role will need to have excellent behaviour management and be willing to engage and support, fully, the school's continued journey to 'Good'. They are looking for a reliable and dedicated staff member that can commit for the remainder of the academic year, and if successful in the school, they will have the opportunity of a permanent contract after a year.

The ideal candidate must:
*Hold Qualified Teacher Status or be a Newly Qualified Teacher
*Display high levels of passion and enthusiasm for their subject and teaching
*Possess excellent behaviour management strategies and have high expectations
*Have the ability to teach English to KS3 and KS4 students

The successful candidate will receive between GBP105 - GBP155 per day. You will also be fully supported by Tradewind Recruitment and the school, receiving great CPD from both parties.
